5G MAST APPROVED ADJACENT TO PRIMARY SCHOOL
SUPPORT A JUDICIAL REVIEW AGAINST BRIGHTON AND HOVE COUNCIL
TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN AND THE RIGHT TO OBJECT
Brighton and Hove City Council’s decision to approve a 5G mast adjacent to St Peter’s primary school in Portslade is now subject to Judicial Review filed on Friday 10th September. They have three weeks to concede otherwise the case proceeds to Court.
This is relevant to you all across the UK as the case could affect the processing of all planning applications of 5G masts
The local campaign group led by Carol Springgay and Carole Ward who have children at the school led a successful campaign raising over 180 objections. B&HCC ignored them all. They are working closely with MP Peter Kyle, Brighton Mayor Alan Robins, local councillor Les Hamilton and St Peter’s Community Primary School Head Teacher Michele Lawrie who are all equally incensed by the decision to approve the mast.
The exclusion zones were not provided so had to be estimated by a campaigner, it appears that they touch the school buildings. Please do press your council to demonstrate where the exclusion zones are for any 5G application. Children as young as 3 attend the nursery and then proceed to primary so they would be exposed to pulsed non ionising radiation for much of their childhood. We are hoping the recent US legal victory regarding EMF safety will influence the outcome here as it supports the need to acknowledge harmful non thermal effects which have been set aside by government and regulators for 30 years. £5000 was raised in the first week, another £35,000 is needed to see the case through.
This is a great opportunity to stand up to the Government and Telecoms and challenge their negligent and dubious decision making about independent peer reviewed science and their ignoring the plight of people already suffering microwave sickness sometimes called EHS (Electro-hypersensitivity) from the exposure to 3G and 4G.
The case needs 1000 £35 donations, or 1400 £25 donations, or 3500, £10 donations or 7000 £5 by OCTOBER 1st
